Laia García delves into themes such as uncertainty and ambiguity, creating visual and emotional experiences that resonate deeply. Her approach to art is based on the concept of doubt, exploring how limited perspectives can transform into expansive visions. García's ongoing pictorial exploration features recurring motifs she refers to as "form," "black silhouette," and "body." These elements coexist and interact in her work, creating dynamic and dreamlike environments. The use of oil painting allows her to explore these themes in depth, revealing layers of sensuality, psyche, and mourning. Her current practice reflects a balance between personal desires and aesthetic pursuits, showing a sophisticated interaction of figurative and abstract elements.
