Lena Laguna Diel

Lena Laguna Diel was born in Zürich and raised between Cadaqués and Barcelona. She studied at the School of Art and Design in Olot and later graduated in Fine Arts from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe, where she also completed a master's degree under the guidance of Franz Ackermann, Lutz Braun, and Tatjana Doll. She has recently completed her second master's degree at the Institut Kunst IAGN in Basel. 

Diel’s work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as Kunsthaus Baselland, Städische Gallerie Fruchthalle, and Galerie Knecht und Burster. She has received several awards and nominations, including the Ketterer Kunst Nomination and the Sorigué Foundation grant. Her work is part of the Kunstkredit Cantonal collection in Basel-Stadt.
