In this exhibition, the table appears not as an object but as a symbolic territory. A place where time folds and settles, like dust, into layers of memory, gesture, and silence. 

These paintings were born from observing a gesture as ordinary as it is profound: sitting at a table. Being still. Listening. Thinking. Waiting. Speaking. Falling silent. 

As I painted, I imagined each canvas as a tabl seen from above, a surface that holds the traces of what has already taken place: marks left by long conversations, ideas that emerged and disappeared, glasses set down and then removed, words crossed out, others inscribed. These are surfaces where symbolic memory manifests, not as literal recollection but as subtle presence, as an imprint lef by lived experience. These tables are also spaces of absence, places where we are no longer but where something of us remains.
